Clearing the Path After a Brutal Winter
I remember walking through River Park last February when the frost-heave damage hit the older homes hard. The air felt like ice against my face as we saw homeowners struggling with piles of rotted wood and shattered siding from the freeze-thaw cycles. These folks had massive debris piles blocking their driveways, and the sheer weight of the frozen mess made it impossible to move without heavy equipment. If we didn't get those bins on-site quickly, the spring thaw would turn their yards into a muddy, unmanageable disaster zone.
Our crew rolled a heavy-duty roll-off directly onto the gravel driveway to keep the heavy wheels from sinking. We spent the afternoon hauling away everything from water-damaged drywall to old insulation that had been ruined by the moisture. We made sure to clear the perimeter of the house so the contractors could start the rebuild without tripping over junk. The homeowner finally got their yard back, and they didn't have to lift a single heavy splinter.
Javier's crew arrived right when the snow started melting and cleared my entire mess.
